MESSIR-AIS allows the operator to retrieve NOTAM and FPL messages using its powerful search filters and criteria.
In addition to manual/interactive request, MESSIR-AIS is entirely driven by the reception of the flight plan (FPL) messages that trigger the automatic generation of Pre-flight and flight briefing entries within the catalog accessed by the pilot before take-off.
WAFC Meteorological data can be acquired from SADIS or ISCS satellite reception systems plugged into MESSIR-AIS server or any other MESSIR system like MESSIR-COMM or MESSIR-AERO.
As an extension of MESSIR-AFTN, MESSIR-AIS briefing module provides the pilots with the latest and most accurate flight-related information including NOTAM Pre-flight bulletin and METEOROLOGICAL flight briefing including OPMET, Wind/temp charts, SIGWX charts gathered within a flight folder document ready for print-out or to be e-mailed as a PDF file.
MESSIR-AIS allows to implement on your airport the standards of the EUROCONTROL AIS AHEAD program and more particularly the Integrated Briefing concept which allows flexible provision and presentation of data which are required during the pre-flight phase for the preparation and execution of a flight.
