New Guangzhou Airport - CHINA

China and Malaysia : 2 new contracts for COROBOR in Asia
COROBOR has just signed 2 new contracts in Asia for the supply of MESSIR systems.
After Met Service Singapore in 2001, the China Civil Aviation Authority and the Malaysian Met Service have chosen MESSIR for the meteorological offices of the Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur international airports.
In Guangzhou, China, COROBOR engineers will install a MESSIR-COMM telecommunications system to integrate data coming from the SADIS and from the UK Met Office and NOAA back-up services via Internet; MESSIR-COMM will also exchange data with the CAAC internal database.
All this data will be displayed on a MESSIR-VISION Forecaster Workstation with facilities for plotting data, displaying and modifying BUFR-coded SIGX charts, producing weather charts, and displaying model data….
In Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Met Office opted for the MESSIR-AERO Pilot Met Briefing System for the display of WAFS data coming from the Washington DC WAFC (via ISCS satellite distribution).
COROBOR is proud to have signed these 2 new contracts in Asia and also to re-assert its position as World Leader for the supply of WAFS Systems (SADIS+ISCS) with more than 50 such systems currently installed around the world at full customers' satisfaction.
